Do I need a BI platform?
No. Spreadsheets are fine for the lab. The method cares about definitions more than tooling.
What is a real limitation of this course?
We cannot repair incomplete source systems. If your tools do not record stage entry times, the lab will help you document that gap—but it will not invent precision that is not there.
